Pengertian Tenses

Tenses adalah bentuk kata kerja dalam bahasa Inggris untuk menunjukkan waktu (sekarang, masa depan, atau masa lalu) terjadinya suatu perbuatan atau peristiwa.
Simple present tense:

·         He sleeps without a pillow.
·         He always consumes low GI rice.
·         She sends much money to her parents in the village every month.
·         The sun rises from the east and sets in the west.
·         Water boils at 100 degrees Celcius.
·         We agree with the speaker’s opinion.

Simple past tense :
  • I was happy yesterday
  • We were teachers for 20 years
  • There was a lot of rain yesterday
  • I was with my grandmother yesterday.
  • They were at home last week.
Simple future tense :
·         I will go to Tina’s house.
·         I will go to mall soon.
·         I will fly into your arms.
·          They will visit Malang.
·         My Dad will go to office.
·         Deni will wake up soon.

Present continous tense
·         She is cooking in the kitchen.
·           He is playing football in the flied.
·         She is watching tv in the leaving room.
·          She is studying in the school.
·          She is washing glass in the kitchen.
·          She is eating rice in the dinning room.

 Present Perfect Tense
·         I have eaten.
·         I have drunk.
·         I have cleaned the floor.
·         I have read a newspaper.
·         The have written a letter.
·         I have sung a song.


 Present Perfect Continuous Tense

·         They have been playing football.

·        They have been eating rice.

·         They have been drinking milk.

·         They have been reading a newspaper.

·        I have been cooking water.

Past Continous tense

·         We were joking.

·         I was working.

·         They were washing.

·         I was watching tv.

·         I was sleeping.

·         I was eating rice

Past Perfect Tense

·         I had Listen the radio when you come here.
·         How long had you watched Tv when I got home.
·         The sky had been clear after the strom was disappeared.
·         My.Daddy had fold me that my.Mom died before you did.
·         He had hot been a teach when she got merried.
·         It had been long time after we met at jogja several years ago.

Past Perfect continous tense

·         Riza sais that she had been playing tennis with Ayu.

Future Perfect Continous Tense

·         By next standay Nona will have been travelling for  four weeks.
·         Al this time nextweek they will have been searching for five days.
·         by next year Nina will have been visiting nine haurses.
